I find it Cathartic to purge my emotions through writing-
"Catharsis (from the Greek κάθαρσις katharsis
meaning "purification" or "cleansing") is the purification and purgation of emotions—especially pity and fear—through art[1] or any extreme change in emotion that results in renewal and restoration." See Here
"These feelings won't go away, they've been knocking me sideways."

THE SHORT VERSION OF THIS LEARNED LESSON IS...
I've learned that when things frustrate u, or get u down, to heal ur soul it's best to have a release or outlet to channel those feelings.
THE LONG VERSION OF THIS LEARNED LESSON IS...
I've learned that when things frustrate u, or get u down, to heal ur wounded soul it's best to have a release or outlet to channel those feelings. Whether it's unresolved feelings of love, or some kind of personal challenge or turmoil. For me writing and listening to music is my outlet. Not being able to write, or listen to music would stifle me to death.
I will try to take this lesson learned into 2014.
"Even Through the darkest phase, Be it thick or thin, Always someone marches brave, Here beneath my skin, Constant craving, Has always been
Maybe a great magnet pulls, All souls towards truth, Or maybe it is life itself, That feeds wisdom To it's youth"
It's Freezing here in the UK, Summer came with a bang and September waved goodbye to warmth. At least there will be no
more heat waves. But, i'm cold.
Food: I'm craving a Lechon (Spit Roasted Pig) and Chicharron on Thursday, a Curry Goat with Roti on Saturday, and Puerto Nuevo Lobster with some Pinto Beans, Flour Tortillas, and Yellow Rice on Saturday. Where's my chef?
"I don't want to wait, For our lives to be over, I want to know right now
What will it be, I don't want to wait, For our lives to be over
Will it be yes or will it be, Sorry"...Paula Cole
I am obsessed with Dawson's Creek and I wanna live in Capeside.
There are so many talented musicians and singers from the UK. One of the best is David Gray. He's simply amazing. Some of my favourite songs are Babylon, Sail Away
and This Year's Love, he's truly a remarkable artist.
Alex Ferguson was the greatest manager of all. No one can replace him,
no one can compete with his achievements, or his longevity.
It feels like the end of an Era. Words cannot quite adequately express my feelings of sadness that Alex Ferguson is retiring. I won't lie and say that I thought this day would come, I didn't. I just took it for granted that he would be the manager forever. But of course, all things must end. Goodbye Alex, i'll hold onto hope that you will reconsider.
And, before I forget RIP Chris Kelly, may your soul rest in peace.
"Your eyes, they conjure up those cliffs of moher, far away and not listening anymore, dreaming of life on another shore, not here, not now, with me."
"I was 14 with my passion and 15 with my best, 16 with my ego and zero with the rest, oh yeah, my heart is a POW, tangled in my chest, I don't know how to communicate in a cardiac arrest.
Your eyes, they drown me in your sadness, your words, they bring hurricanes. I'm braving Shakespearean tempest, the Mighty Tiger doesn't blink."
When all is said and done, I am an immigrant. And as with all immigrant stories, my story has its fair share of terror, pain, anguish and hardships.
So I feel sympathetic towards other immigrants, especially those whose journeys are long, arduous and far more treacherous and dangerous, than mine ever was.
Paula Cole and Lana Del Rey are both very underrated artists. They are both very talented, with haunting and distinct voices, and both sing songs with beautiful lyrics.
"Blue jeans, white shirt, walked into the room, you know you made my eyes burn."
"Ina Garten has grown on me. She is now a very big inspiration. Her zest for life is infectious and her warm bubbly personality is very endearing. Thanks Ina, for just being you."
"I often seem to be in an LA state of mind, especially in the summer. I just want to take off to Malibu, stay at a beach house, and watch the sun rise and set."
"America is the greatest country in the world, even though it was built on stolen land. No other country compares, and no other country matters as much to me. Gasp!"
"Sade's music is inspiring, timeless and wondrous."
"I love Sia Furler's song, beautiful calm driving. It gets to the deepest part of my emotions and my senses, and sometimes makes me cry."
"Sometimes I am more afraid of fear itself. Being fearful is bad in many ways,
but it also keeps your mind in check."
"Ree Drummond has changed my views on living in the country. I am not a country girl by nature, i'm a city girl, but I wouldn't mind living out in the country in Cali or NY."
"I will never get over the death of certain people that I have never met. Sometimes one can connect with people we don't know, and mourn their deaths as if we were related to them."
"I've been through many hellish situations, but through it all I always had food; food nourishes the soul and warms the heart. Hunger and Starvation is real pain. But no one knows what tomorrow may bring, or if one day, food or shelter will be in short supply."
London is among the greatest cities in the world. I love London and i'm forgiving of London's shortcomings and imperfections. No matter where I live in the world, I will always have a special place in my heart for London, even though London has not
always been so forgiving and kind to me."
