Probably the easiest yet most decadent dessert I could ever prepare. My first few attempts making this weren't that great. But on this occasion, it was a melt in my mouth experience that was so insatiable
that I craved more and more.
that I craved more and more.
I've found my perfect recipe. And you don't need to worry about igniting a flame either. This dessert took me less than ten minutes to make, and it was absolutely delicious. Instead of Cinnamon I used All Spice. Because I'm a firm believer that bananas and cinnamon don't pair well together. I know many would disagree. The All Spice however, was a match
made in heaven with the bananas.
made in heaven with the bananas.
Recipe and Ingredients
2 bananas peeled and sliced, 1/3 Cups of Water, 2tbs Butter, 2 tbs Dark Rum, 6-8 tbs of Dark Brown Sugar (Or to your taste) 3 tsp All Spice, 3-6 Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream Or 4-5 tbs of Cream drizzled over the top
On medium heat add water to a pan and melt the butter. Add the sugar and stir. Let the sugar dissolve, then add rum, All Spice and finish off with a little (2 tbs) cream, stir and make sure it doesn't coagulate. Then add the bananas and cook for a minute or 2. Serve with Vanilla Ice Cream or drizzle Cream on top.
