My Berry Sauce is a versatile and rich dessert sauce for Cheesecakes, French Toast, Coeur a la creme, Ice cream, Semifreddo or Whipped Cream, Double or Single Cream, Panna Cotta, Bavarian Cream, Yogurt, and Fruit cakes such as Victoria Sponge or Muffins, Mousse and Mousse Cakes, Doughnuts, Pancakes, Crepes, Scones, Rice Pudding and many other delicious treats.
Apart from the fact that this sauce is delicious it's the diversity of the sauce and the fact that it's easy to make that ultimately makes it special.
The is an ideal sauce as a topping for Cheesecake, to serve alongside Panna Cotta, and to drizzle on top of Ice Cream or French Toast.
BERRY FRUIT SAUCE RECIPE
The Berry Sauce
Preheat Oven to 180c
Place half a pint of raspberries in a baking tin, add 1/2 cup granulated sugar and a sprinkling of red wine and 1/4 cup of water. Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 mins approx. Then mix this baked fruit mixture with 454 grams of Hartley's Strawberry Jam. Refrigerate and use as desired. The sauce will last for at least 7 days in the fridge.
